How It Works
The turmeric in this formula is Curcumin C3 Complex®, standardized to 95% curcuminoids. Curcuminoids are the compounds turmeric extracts are characterized by, and whole ground turmeric root contains only a few percent — a 95% standardization is a concentrated extract rather than the spice.
Phosphatidylserine is supplied as SunPS®, derived from sunflower seeds. Phosphatidylserine is more often sourced from soy, so the source is worth noting on the label.
The skullcap here is Scutellaria lateriflora, known as American or blue skullcap. It is a different plant from Scutellaria baicalensis, Chinese or Baikal skullcap, which appears in other formulas.
